Your settings, crosshair, run history, consent choice, display name and a random anonymous player ID are kept in your browser’s local storage. They are not sent to us unless you submit a score to the leaderboard. Clearing your browser’s site data removes them.
02Leaderboard
When you submit a score we store: your display name, your random player ID, the scenario, score and run statistics, the recorded aim inputs of the run (used to verify the score), your approximate country as provided by our network provider (shown as a flag), and the time.
Display names, country flags and scores are public. The player ID and recorded inputs are not shown publicly.
03Technical data
The site runs on Cloudflare. Your IP address is processed to deliver pages, protect the service and apply rate limits; we do not store it in our database. Cloudflare may keep short-lived logs under its own privacy policy.
To prevent automated abuse, starting a ranked run may involve Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-preserving bot check.
04Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and scenarios are used. Analytics cookies are only set after you accept them in the cookie banner. If you decline, Google may still receive cookieless, aggregated measurements without identifiers (Google Consent Mode). We do not use advertising cookies or sell personal data.
You can change your choice at any time with the button below.
05Retention and deletion
Leaderboard entries are kept while the service runs. To delete your entries, email us your player ID (shown below). Runs flagged by our anti-cheat checks are kept for review and may be removed.
06Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its processing. Contact us at support@aimrange.org; we answer within 30 days.
07Children
The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
08Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date above. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
